As one of the new classes in our lineup, Mise en place (or killer kitchen prowess) is more than just knife skills, it’s learning to organize your kitchen and your food before you start cooking. It’s about learning prep and how to use your kitchen equipment effectively. Most importantly, it’s the first step is making sure your culinary adventures are fun, easy execute and most importantly, beautiful and delicious!
In this Cooking Class, We’ll Cover:
Mise en Place: The French saying for “staying organized”; Knowing which ingredients you can prep ahead & how to ultimately de-clutter your cooking.
Knife Skills: Julienne, brunoise, emince – qu’est-ce que c’est??? Perfect your knife-wielding abilities & unleash your inner Chop Champion!
Kitchen Equipment: Many home chefs already own must-have kitchen tools & gadgets, now learn how to extend both their life span & usefulness!
Kitchen Staples: Learn the types of standard items that you should always keep stocked in your fridge and kitchen cupboards.
This class comes with FREE access to our online recipe box, which lets you explore all of our recipes whenever you feel inspired.
Knives, aprons and food are all supplied. Please feel free to bring in Tupperware containers to take home some of your leftover creations!
