In this class we’ll start by demonstrating how to fillet a fish and from there, you’ll use the fillets to make a number of different dishes, that are sure to wow your taste buds. Our professional chef instructors will show you how to use a variety of techniques; that you can use on any kind of fish in the sea!
In this Cooking Class We’ll Cover…
The Difference in Fish: Learn how to avoid overcooking your fish based on the amount of fat it contains.
Chef Butchery Demo: Observe the butchery of a whole side of salmon, and personally learn how to clean & filet a whole fish.
Master Fish Cooking Methods: Using the portioned fish, as well as leftover bits, practise pan-frying, searing and grilling to understand the various cook times based on the type of fish.
Waste Not: Create fish stock with the tail, head and bones, and then use it to create chowder!
